The nominal rating power of one ePäike home system is 3.8 kW, which is sufficient for a small household.

In Estonia, the sunshine hours are an average of 2000 per year. The capabilities of the ePäike system are clearly visible if we multiply the number of solar
hours by system capacity: 2000 hours x 3.8 kW, so the maximum annual electricity generation can reach 7,600 kWh per year!

With an average market price for electricity of 0.06 euro/kWh, to which the grid charge and excise tax of about 0.06 euro/kW are added, the total cost of electricity for the consumer is 0.12 euro/kW. By multiplying the maximum possible amount of energy produced by the ePäike system per year by the cost of electricity, we get a benefit of up to 912 euros per year!

Certainly, the ePäike system can generate maximum power with constant intense solar radiation, the correct angle of inclination of the panels and ideal environmental conditions. Also, the system can produce more energy in the summer months, and less in the winter. According to our estimates, the average power generation of one ePäike system is about 3000-4000 kWh per year. 

The unused electric power will be returned back to the grid and recompensated by Elering AS in the amount of 0.053 euros per kWh.
